FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to infectology, and concerns diagnostic technique for chronic latent Chlamidia infection in central nervous system (CNS). Method consists in analysis of liquor and blood of the patient in dynamics as combined with therapy of concurrent infection to determine therein the infection agent by parallel cultural, genetic and immunologic methods, and also detection of oligocloned immunoglobulins by electrophoresis. Detection of oligocloned immunoglobulins involves provocation, and 4 weeks later control analysis of liquor is performed by cultural, genetic and immunologic methods. If the control analysis shows positive Chlamidia infection, chronic lateral Chlamidia infection in CNS is diagnosed.
EFFECT: improved accuracy and effectiveness of diagnostics of chronic lateral Chlamidia infection in CNS.
