METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF CNS ORGANIC LESIONS IN CHILDREN DURING THE ACUTE PERIOD Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01N33/48 A61B5/55

Abstract RU 2648215 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to neurology, and can be used for differential diagnosis of CNS organic lesions in children during the acute period. For this, clinical, laboratory, neuroimaging, MRI studies are being carried out. During the acute period of the disease, DNA/RNA, varicella-zoster, Epstein-Barr viruses herpes virus type 1, 2, 6, cytomegalovirus, tick-borne encephalitis virus, enteroviruses, as well as Borrelia, immunoglobulins M, G and their avidity, cytosis, and protein in spinal fluid and blood are being diagnosed, the MRI study in T1-weighted T2-VI, FLAIR-pulse DWI and contrast modes.

EFFECT: due to the proposed evaluation of the complex diagnosis of the child, the invention makes it possible to conduct an accurate differential diagnosis of encephalitis, disseminated encephalomyelitis and multiple sclerosis, clarifying the features of the course, the possibility of progression of these diseases, which contributes to timely adequate therapeutic tactics.
