YOKE FOR STRINGED MUSICAL INSTRUMENT Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G10D3/12

Abstract RU 2361287 C1

FIELD: physics; acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a yoke for stringed musical instruments, with a tremolo mechanism. The said yoke for a stringed musical instrument has independent sector-shaped supports for each string, lying at the arc of the sector-shaped supports. The sector-shaped support can execute angular displacement within the boundaries of the working gap. The sector-shaped support is made into a single unit with a jumper and a prop. Angular displacement of the sector-shaped support elastically deforms the jumper, which acts as the centre of rotation of the sector-shaped support.

EFFECT: improved sound of the musical instrument and increased durability of the strings.
