FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to capotasto for stringed musical instruments. Stringed musical instrument capotasto has a calibrated fingerholes for each string, the strings of a certain diameter are used. Especially this capotasto is suitable for electric guitars having rectilinear arrangement of the strings from the back nut to the point of contact with the axis of splitting. Fingerholes do not allow a string to fall out of the set place of a string in capotasto. In straight position of the strings from the back nut to the point of contact with the axis of splitting, calibrated capotasto does not worsen the sound of a musical instrument. Fingerholes for strings are made by sliding fit.
EFFECT: achieved technical result is in improvement of sound of a musical instrument due to long-term preservation of tuning system and increase in durability of the strings and a possibility not to use the strings clamp to capotasto in arrangement of strings from the back nut to the point of contact with the axis of splitting.
