SUBSTANCE: invention concerns string musical instruments, for example, to an electro guitar having a tremolo mechanism, namely to a peg for a string musical instrument. The peg for a string musical instrument contains rotating core on which the string is reeled. The core has the carving cut on an outside cylindrical surface, on which two nuts are screwed, spanning a gear of a worm and wheel and the spacer between them placed on core. The gear fastens to a core with the help of feather joint with possibility of travel along an axis of the core having a furrow for the feather. The device contains a spacer, resting with one extremity on the gear of a worm and wheel, and another in the second nut. Thus the core together with the string reeled on it has possibility to move along the spin axis at change of spanning nuts position.
EFFECT: maintenance of a musical instrument system.
