SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fixing mechanisms for folding furniture, particularly for backs or armrests of armchairs or bedroom furniture, and is directed to maximal range of fixed positions. Fixing mechanism for folding furniture includes bearing plate and pivotally connected to it installed under different angles fixing plate with claws. Claws are located concentrically relative to pivot axis, engaged with which in fixed position stopper, pivotally installed on bearing plate. Stopper in unhooking position is held by spring, and in cohesion position is loaded by the same spring. On fixing plate it is cam for stopper breaking ensured by interaction with cam. Stopper allows guide face, which is installed for providing of cohesion with ability of interaction to claws.

EFFECT: development of reliable holder for folding furniture.
