FIELD: technological processes, filters.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to methods for separation of liquid from solid particles in slurry. Method for separation of solid particles from liquids is carried out in zone of filtration, which consists of higher concentration zone and lower concentration zone, which are separated by filter. Method includes stages of supplying slurry that contains liquid and solid body, into zone of higher concentration, supplying displacement fluid medium in zone of higher concentration in direction opposite to slurry flow, and passing of at least part of liquid through filter into zone of filtration with creation of filtrate. At that displacement fluid medium is not soluble in slurry components, and either liquid or gas is used as displacement fluid medium. Slurry includes product of crystallisation, for instance, paraxylene. Method is realised in filtration column, which comprises hollow cylinder and at least one filtration pipe. Pipe is installed inside cylinder and is stretched in axial direction. Pipe includes filter connected to it, which creates direct connection between internal part of pipe and internal part of hollow cylinder.
EFFECT: makes it possible to efficiently separate solid particles from slurry, provides possibility of solid product purity variation, makes it possible to reduce capital expenses for equipment and its maintenance.
