FIELD: polygraphic industry.
SUBSTANCE: important document, particularly - a banknote, contains a sequence of layers therein identifiers in the form of patterns, numeric characters and images are provided for via laser emission application. The sequence of layers contains a marker layer consisting of a paint mixture. The paint mixture contains colour pigments having variable optical properties. The paint mixture specified contains a component providing for absorption of laser radiation and a laser radiation translucent component. The identifiers are to be perceived either visually and/or with the help of auxiliary devices due to non-reversible variation of the paint mixture optical properties to have occurred under the impact of laser radiation.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of protection against forgery.
