SUBSTANCE: invention relates to substrate with protective element containing at least one dye with variable optical properties with pigments. Note here that separate pigments comprise at least one multilayer structure that allows interference. Pigments in dye protective layer are irreversibly changed on one section by electromagnetic radiation to allow clear perception, either visually or with the help of special appliance, of variation in interference on said section compared with adjacent sections not containing changed pigments. Note here that irreversible change in pigment is performed by varying optical properties of pigment outer layer that faces radiation.
EFFECT: protective element features changed colour transitions to facilitate protection against counterfeit.
