FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method of processing natural gas for production of hydrocarbons with longer chains consists in reforming of natural gas with water steam under pressure within interval from 0.4 to 0.6 MPa for creating mixture of oxide of carbon and hydrogen, in mixture cooling, in compressing this mixture using two successive stages of compression including cooling between these two stages to pressure within interval from 1.8 to 2.2 MPa so, that degree of compression at each stage does not exceed 2.5:1, and further method consists in performing Fisher-Tropsh synthesis with this mixture for production of hydrocarbons with longer chains; also product of Fisher-Tropsh synthesis is separated with condensation into liquid phase and residual gas, and at least part of this residual gas is used for generating electric energy for performing two-stage compression.

EFFECT: reduced operation and capital costs for installation.
