FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: intraocular lens comprises an optical part and a base part consisting of two groups of bearing supports. The first group of the elastic bearing supports is executed as at least two flat circular segments mutually diametrical and reinforced on an end surface of the optical part in front of the principal plane of the optical part. The second group of the elastic bearing supports is reinforced on an end surface of the optical part behind the principal plane of the optical part and also executed as at least two flat radial circular segments. Each bearing support of the second group is located within the space between circular segments of the first group. At least two bearing supports of the first or second group are supplied with through holes symmetric concerning the centre of the optical part. The shape of these holes is congruent to the shape of the circular segments. Ratio of diametre of the bearing supports of the first group to diametre of the bearing supports of the second group lays within the range 0.7 to 0.73.
EFFECT: centering of crystalline lens, improved spatial distribution of local deformations of capsular sac tissues and compensation of capsulorexis of various dimensions.
