FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: corpse manipulation apparatus comprising column which expands at water absorption, water-absorbing medium, cylindrical guide pin, closing element and pusher-type rod. The guide element is holed at both ends to arrange the column and water-absorbing medium therein to be guided into a body cavity. The closing element is opened at the first end and tightly inserted into the first end of the guide element to be removed therefrom. The pusher-type rod is designed to be inserted into the guide element through a hole formed at the second end, and to push out the column and the water-absorbing medium being inside of the guide element through a hole of the guide element arranged at first end. The apparatus is designed so that the column which has been pushed out in the body cavity by means of the pusher-type rod through the hole in the guide element at the first end, absorbs water from contents of the cavity and extends until stops up this cavity. The water-absorbing medium absorbs water from contents of the cavity thereby preventing leakage of this content from the cavity.
EFFECT: prevented leakage of the content from the cavity, simplified and improved handiness of manipulations to prevent leakage of the content from the body cavities.
