FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine area, namely to oncology and concerns ways of the combined treatment of cardioesophageal cancer of III stage. The combined gastrectomy, splenectomy and intraoperative radial therapy (IORT) are performed through a laparotomy incision immediately on a bed of a remote tumour and a zone of regional innidiation. Thus resection of the lower third of esophagus is performed and IORT is in addition spent with a focal dose of 10 Gy through a thoracotomic surgical access in the field of irradiation, including mediastinum structures.
EFFECT: rising of efficiency of the combined treatment of cardioesophageal cancer of III stage at the expense of prevention of advance of tumoral process in anatomic structures of mediastinum.
