SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of aluminium oxide preparation, provided for usage in the capacity of adsorbent and can be used at manufacturing of hydrofining catalyst. It is described method of aluminium oxide receiving, used in the capacity of carrier of catalyst for hydrofining, including precipitation of aluminium hydroxide from solution of sodium aluminate by nitric acid, its stabilisation, moulding, drying and ignition, herewith sodium aluminate is treated by nitric acid during 100-120 min. at temperature 58.0-65.0°C and value pH 7.8-8.8, and stabilisation is implemented during 60 min. at temperature 58.0-62.0°C and value pH 7.5-8.3.

EFFECT: reduction of apparent density of the received aluminium oxide, technology simplification.
