FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an alkaline metal halogen aerosol generator (1), made in the form of a furnace, comprising housing (2) formed by a shell mounted on housing base (4), housing cover (3) with central hole and housing cover (3) connection means (10) to housing base (4), crucible (5) for an active substance of an alkali metal halogenide, made in the form of capsule (5b) equipped with flange-holder (5a), crucible heater (6), providing melting of an active substance in the form of an alkali metal halogenide in the crucible, and heat insulator (7) with recess (8) for crucible (5) and crucible heater (6) connected to power supply. At that, housing (2), upper cover (3) and base (4) are made of thin-wall stainless steel, said heater (6) is made in the form of a cylindrical spiral from fecal wire covering crucible capsule (5b) and installed in said niche (8) of the heat insulator so that the spiral leads pass through the heat insulator, wherein one spiral terminal extends along the axial line of the recess, and sections of spiral leads at outlet of heat insulator are enclosed in ceramic bushings (10), crucible (5) is made of corundum ceramics, and heat insulator (8) is made of keram fiber-fiber plate with weight ratio of Al2O3 of not less than 45 % and SiO2 not less than 35 %. Invention also relates to air saturation device with potassium iodide aerosol.
EFFECT: disclosed is an alkali metal halogen aerosol generator.
