FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to the field of metal working and may be used for section bar shaping out of flat metal strip. Strap unwound from roll is used to shape section bars with cross section that varies along their length with application of edge cutters and bending units. Mentioned edge cutters and bending units may be displaced individually aside the strap. Edge cutters and bending units are individually controlled to follow lines of cut side edges expansion and lines of angles, which are formed later on. At that formation of single angle with multiple bending units is only started after the formation of angle arranged in close proximity to strap edge has been completed. Shaped profile is bent in bender inbuilt in the line, at that bender comprises rollers that serve for rolling of profile sections with thinning for bending or twisting of profile in process of its shaping.
EFFECT: improved shaping of profiles from flat metal strap.
