FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to technology of strengthening treatment and application of coats onto dentate surface of cylindrical parts of machines. Method includes strengthening of rotary part surface with simultaneous application of coat with specified properties onto processed surface with the help of rotary brush with metal nap. Brush is used, nap of which is installed along helical line relative to its axis with pitch equal to pitch of process part teeth. Brush is installed relative to processed part with crossing of their axes of rotation.
EFFECT: continuity of all part teeth processing and possibility of high-quality processing of lateral facets of teeth and indents between them, as well as higher wear resistance and fatigue strength of parts.
