FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of processing of rubber of general and special purpose based on polydiene caoutchoucs, as well as rubber-containing wastes, made from such rubbers, in particular, tire rubbers and used automobile tires. Method consists in liquation of rubber and rubber-containing wastes by their contacting with nitrous oxide - N2O with formation of viscous-fluid or liquid products. Process is carried out at temperature 120-350°C and pressure of nitrous oxide from 3 to 140 atm. For contacting instead of nitrous oxide mixture of N2O with gas - thinner can be applied. As gas-thinner inert gas, alkanes C1-C4 or their mixtures can be used.
EFFECT: reduction of power consumption and method simplification.
