FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to compound of cast iron. Cast iron contains components in a following ratio, wt %: carbon 2.2-2.4; silicon 0.1-0.2; chrome 0.1-0.2; vanadium 2.0-2.5; aluminium 0.7-1.1; nickel 0.6-0.9; cadmium 0.001-0.003; strontium 0.01-0.03; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: invention usage provides hardening of cast iron against strike.
