FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obtaining magnetic liquids, as well as synthesis of basic component of magnetic liquid highly dispersive magnetite ferrophase. Magnetic phase of magnetic liquid if obtained by electrochemical dissolving of electrodes from steel St 3, distance between which consists 5-15 mm, in electro conductive solution of table salt with concentration of NaCl 50-100g/m3 at voltage 24-36 V and current density 15.6 A/mm2. Surface of magnetite particles is covered in water medium with adsorbed layer of stabilizing substance with further heating of obtained suspension. Magnetite particles are separated from water phase and mixed with non-water liquid-carrier.
EFFECT: simplicity of instrument execusion and possibility to control intensity of magnetite formation process by changing of electrolysis parametres.
