FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic fluid is a stable colloid system of highly dispersed particles of a magnetic material (ferro- or ferrimagnetic substances), stabilised by surfactants in a carrier liquid, which is capable of reaction with a magnetic field and in many respects behaves as a homogeneous liquid. The magnetic phase of the magnetic fluid - magnetite - is produced by electrochemical method by dissolution of electrodes from St3 in the electroconductive solution of rheopolyglucin (composition: dextran with molecular weight from 30000 to 40000 - 10 g, sodium chloride - 0.9 g, water for injections - up to 100 ml).
EFFECT: electrochemical method differs by simplicity, less time spent in process of magnetic fluid production, cheapness of hardware layout and possibility to control intensity of magnetite generation process by variation of electrolysis parameters.
