FIELD: hydroacoustic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to hydroacoustic antenna engineering and may be used in design of hydroacoustic systems. Antenna comprises extended rod piezoelectric converters 1 of trapezoidal section, which are fixed on base 2, on sides and on their back side reflecting acoustic screens 3 and 4 are located, being contained into body 5 and poured with sealing polymer 6. Wide facet of converters is oriented to the side of radiation - reception of acoustic signals, and their size is selected based on the following expression; where A is semi-wave height of converters, B and C are accordingly working (wide) and back (narrow) width of converters, υ is Poisson ratio of converter piezoceramics.
EFFECT: simplification of design and increased efficiency of antenna in modes of radiation and reception.
