FIELD: hydro-acoustics, namely, broadband rod piezo-electric transformers.
SUBSTANCE: hydro-acoustic rod transformer contains piezo-ceramic rod element with two pieces, hermetically positioned in durable body and vibro-isolated from it by force acoustic decoupling, which is mounted near frontal piece and is made in form of individual structural assembly, having shape of thick-walled metallic ring, in the wall of which closed hollow of any shape is present, filled with working liquid. On one of ends of thick-walled ring cylindrical apertures are made, connected to hollow and closed by moveable cylindrical pistons, projecting above the surface of end and having pressurizing circular rubber compactions. Durable body is made of two coaxial metallic pipes of different diameter near frontal (emitting) piece connected by circular metallic flange, abutting on which is the end of acoustic decoupling. Projecting pistons of decoupling are in contact with inner surface of frontal piece. Two variants of realization of force acoustic decoupling are provided.
EFFECT: possible efficient operation in broad range of frequencies at high hydrostatic pressures.
