FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: course of ischemic heart disease is predicted after coronary bypass surgery by analysing results of pre-surgical examination. Also evaluated are the age of the patient, location of old myocardial infarction, indication of disruption of cerebral circulation in anamnesis, presence of rest angina, damage level of circumflex branch of the left coronary artery and completeness of revascularisation. Coefficients are calculated for predicting development of non-fatal myocardial infarction (Dmi) and repeated bout of cardiac angina (Drec) in points. If Dmi is greater than 3.86, development of myocardial infarction in the next two years is predicted. If Drec is greater than 1.08, resumption of cardiac angina in the same period after heart bypass is predicted. In the rest of situations, uncomplicated course of ischemic heart disease is predicted.
EFFECT: increased frequency of diagnosing patients at high risk after heart bypass without increasing examination duration.
