FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmosurgery. The accommodating intraocular lens has optical and support elements. The optical element is made in form of a first closed ellipsoidal elastic transparent polymer jacket, filled with transparent liquid. The jacket is symmetrical about the optical axis and can change is geometrical shape and can provide for reciprocating motion of the front surface of the optical element along the optical axis of the accommodating intraocular lens, as well as change of curvature of the peripheral area of the jacket in the space in front of the capsular sack. The support element is made in form of a second closed ellipsoidal elastic transparent polymer jacket, filled with transparent liquid. The jacket is symmetrical about the longitudinal axis of the support element, can change its shape inside the capsular sack and provides for reciprocal motion along the optical axis of the accommodating intraocular lens. The support and optical elements are joined together by an elastic channel and are made such that, the transparent liquid can flow from one jacket to the other.
EFFECT: improvement of accommodating properties, spatial distribution of local deformations of tissue of the capsular sack, reduction of the size of these deformations and reduction of permanent injury of tissue of the capsular sack.
