FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device has optical and haptic parts. The haptic part is ring of variable geometric shape. The internal ring surface is connected to optical part end face surface with two curved lines of variable geometric shape. At least three concave curvilinear angularly equidistant unclosed segments are available on ring surface and turned with their convex side towards the optical part and with the unclosed part towards the opposite direction. Reciprocation is allowed along the optical axis of the artificial eye lens. Curvilinear unclosed segments and the haptic part have variable shape.

EFFECT: wide range of artificial eye lens application; simplified implantation process; reduced surrounding eye tissue deformations.
