FIELD: production line engineering.
SUBSTANCE: conveyor includes frame (1), charging and discharging devices, belt circuit on drums. Cable (12) is positioned inside the belt circuit along its longitudinal axis. At carrying belt run (6) the cable is propped on horizontal rollers (14) with flanges which can interact with side edges of the cable. Belt walls at the carrying run are supported by tilted rollers (16, 17), forming chute profile of the belt cross-section. Belt and cable supporting rollers are distanced from each other along the conveyor length. Driving and tension pulleys are made in the form of annular hollows of trapezoidal cross-section in cylindrical drum shells oriented along longitudinal axis of the conveyor. Idle run of the belt circuit features also vertical tension device. Parametres defining belt cross-section profile and belt position against drive circuit are determined by the ratio H≤05 B α-1 {cos[arc sin(b B-1 α)]-cos α}, where H is elevation of belt wall edges over the upper edge of drive circuit, m; B is the belt width, m; α is the belt roller tilt angle against horizon, radian; b is the horizontal distance between outer edges of drive circuit, m.
EFFECT: simplified conveyor construction, increased carrying capacity of belt.
