FIELD: conveyors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cable-belt conveyor comprises frame, belt loop passing around drums and draw loop consisting of two steel cables rectangular cross section wire cables arranged inside belt loop, along its lengthwise axis and symmetric about it. Cables on load carrying run of the belt rest on inclined rollers with flanges. Belt edges on load carrying run rest on inclined rollers, roller inclination exceed inclination angle of cable rollers. Drive pulley represents annular trapezoidal cross section recesses in drive drum cylindrical shell oriented along conveyor lengthwise axis to receive cables therein. Tensioning drum for belt and that for draw loop of two steel cables are mounted on trucks. Every truck is furnished with two flexible elements to link it up with bobbins fitted on different shafts of aforesaid tensioning drive device reduction gear. Gear ratio between aforesaid shafts is taken equal to the factor of residual elongation of the belt when it is loaded as load carrying element, and to the factor of residual elongation of draw loop of steel cables divided by flexible element winding-up diameters ratio at operating tensioning of steel cables.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher load-carrying capacity.
