FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for radar angular target tracking and missile seekers. Proposed method comprises generating equal-signal direction of aerial, extracting the signal of mismatch between target direction and equal-signal direction, generating actual target angular coordinates, target identification in compliance with "point-object" or "extended-object" in two planes. It includes changing the aerial equal-signal direction via changing aerial position towards reducing mismatch signal only provided there exists the point-object signal in every plane separately. Target radar coordinator comprises aerial location angle, aerial azimuth channel, reference signal channel and target ID channel, all connected in the way specified in this invention.
EFFECT: higher accuracy.
