FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: said system comprises optically coupled picosecond laser, light-guide scattered radiation detector, detector that is a microchannel-plate photoelectron multiplier (MCPPEM) and data processing system. Besides, the system is equipped with a gate pulse generator electrically coupled with the MCPPEM and a second detector that is a picosecond photodiode optically coupled with the light-guide scattered radiation detector and electrically coupled with a scanning strobe integrator.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of optical testing of cerebral tissues.
