FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and is aims at therapy of depressions. The whole organism is exposed to rotating magnetic field with the absolute magnetic-field vector possess the zero value at first. Then it increases gradually to reach 3 mT and decreases gradually. By the cycle end it reaches the zero value again. The cycle duration is 2-7 minutes, and the daily procedure duration is 35-50 minutes. The exposure course is 10-30 procedures.
EFFECT: offered method allows improving cerebral blood flow, affecting biochemical and endocrine mechanisms of depression pathogenesis, particularly serotonergic systems, noradrenaline release, as well as cholinergic systems.
