FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy and is to be used for alumina sintering production. To provide for aluminium-containing sinter production a charge mixture is prepared of nephelinic ore, limestone and repetition materials and sintered at a temperature of 1.250-1.300°C. The resultant sinter is conditioned at a temperature of 1.160°C for a period of time required for formation of a maximum number of α'L-modifications and at a temperature of 680-620°C a period of time required for formation of a maximum number of β-modifications of dicalcium silicate.
EFFECT: invention ensures higher grade of alumina extraction from the sinter.
