FIELD: physics, measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to flaw detection of underground pipelines and may be used for manufacturing of control sample with crack of corrosion cracking under stress. Method for manufacturing of control sample for flaw detection of pipelines includes sample cutting and its loading in presence of working medium until crack is produced there. Sample cutting is done from previously operated pipeline in the area of possible crack development on its surface. Direction of sample cutting is selected perpendicularly to cyclic load available in pipeline, and sample loading is carried out during cathode polarization, providing for compliance of potential with the operating one.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of instruments settings and reduced error in performance of flaw detection tests.
