FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring characteristic parameters in discrete sections of the pipeline, analyzing the measured parameters by means of constructing three-dimensional models of pipeline location and using the calculation model of stressed-deformed condition of the pipeline, and carrying out the predicting monitoring of the sections of possible corrosion cracking under stressing. The parameter used are the depth of pipeline occurrence , the direction of its axis, level of ground water, concentration of hydrogen in the ground around the pipeline, and temperature of the pipeline.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of predicting.
