FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sphere of agriculture, precisely to plant physiology and plant selection. The method includes couch of each varieties in the test solutions with different concentration of aluminium chloride. The solutions are prepared on the base of calcium sulphate of 10-4 M concentration. The ability of variety genotypes to activate growth of coleoptile in response of low concentrated aluminium ions is determined. Sensitivity of plant varieties is estimated for determining which of them are more adapted to growth in soils containing aluminium ions. The invention allows determining plant genotypes having ability to sense low concentrated aluminium in solutions.
