SUBSTANCE: invention is related to radioisotopic devices intended for monitoring of technological parametres of production processes, more specifically to methods for stabilisation of gamma-radiation registration path. Method for stabilisation of sensitivity of scintillating radiometric gamma-radiation detection unit, in which amplitude spectrum is defined for signal coming from unit, integral values of counting speeds are calculated in spectrum windows, actual location of reference point is found in spectrum, its deviation is measured from required position, and sensitivity correction signal is generated depending on obtained value and deviation sign, besides, required position of reference point is selected on spectrum in point that corresponds to maximum energy of gamma-quanta emitted in chains of natural radio nuclides decay.

EFFECT: improved steadiness of stabilisation, application of method for scintillating detection units with organic detectors, simplification of device design.
