FIELD: stabilization of spectrometric channels with scintillation detectors used for recording gamma-quanta and X-rays in scientific and applied studies, such as activation analyses, as well as for producing equipment for nuclear physics experiments. SUBSTANCE: method depends on shaping correction signal of spectrometer final element according to pulse counting rate measurement results obtained from two stabilization apertures locates on slopes of reference peak; initial value of signal correction is set during each measurement by displacing reference peak or stabilization aperture of same value equal in magnitude to correction signal obtained in advance against reference radiator in absence of analyzed sample. EFFECT: improved stabilization temperature and accuracy of analysis made by means of scintillation spectrometer. 1 dwg, 3 tbl
