FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to linear drives. Linear drive (10) comprises excitation winding (11), magnetic armature (15) linearly oscillating relative to mean position (Mp) in axial direction (x), and at least one spring (2, 2') fixed at point (B, B') moving to make its flexible end (A, A') contact armature (15). With armature (15) in central position (Mp), contact point (A, A') of spring (2, 2') with armature (15) is shifted relative to spring attachment point (B, B') for a certain preset distance (Δx) in axial direction.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and easier starting.
