FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method and devices (versions) for detection of leaks from insulated pipeline that transports compressed hot air. System of leak detection in metal pipeline for transportation of high-temperature compressed air, including pipeline with layer of insulation material wrapped around it, and insulating shell placed on top of this layer, comprises the following components: temperature sensor, collar for metal pipeline, besides, collar is made of flexible material and serves for wrapping of some pipeline along circumference, therefore creating cavity between part of collar and insulating shell, collar has opening arranged in it, besides, opening communicates with cavity, and insulating shell is cut along circumference in 360 degrees in one or several areas along pipeline, besides, collar is installed around pipeline on part of pipeline having openings along circumference of insulating shell.
EFFECT: possibility to detect leaks in cracks of metal tube.
