FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method for noncontact sensing of three-dimensional objects consists in projection of bright contrast line with the help of flat light beam source on measured surface, its registration with the help of digital photorecording device, transmission of this line image to computing device, definition of measured surface relief by computing device in beam plane by value of line curvature. Besides, flat beam is immovable relative to photorecording device, and its scanning in all sections of measured surface is done by manual shifting of photorecording device (together with beam). Reference lines are also provided, which are applied on basic panel, which is immovable relative to measured object, images of which are fixed by photorecording device together with section lines, and are transmitted to computing device, which combines all measured sections into single surface by analysis of reference lines location.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement, simplicity of method realisation and easy access to different zones of measured surface.
