FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for visualization, mathematical modeling and recognition of three-dimensional objects. Disclosed device comprises a projector, which performs three steps of projecting on a measured object three types, shifted in phase relative to each other, harmonic sinusoidal light signals (strips), main recording chamber, which is offset relative to the projector by a certain value and which records these signals and transmits them to a computing device to determine coordinates of the measured surface. Device additionally comprises a camera, which is located at a small distance from the projector and produces three shooting cycles synchronously with the main camera. Information from the additional camera is transmitted to the computing device and used to determine number of 2Pi intervals in the shift of the main camera bands when calculating coordinates of the measured surface.

EFFECT: wider tolerable range of differences in level Z of the measured surface and high accuracy owing to use of narrow light strips.
