FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: suggested invention is related to the field of alarm systems and technical security facilities and may be used for protection of areas and approaches to objects, in investigating alarm systems and in devices for control of engineering ammunition blasting. Suggested method for detection of moving ground objects includes registration of object seismic signal, generation of weight average spectrum frequency in low-frequency pass band and high-frequency component of signal, besides, low-frequency band selected is efficient band of useful signal frequencies, high-frequency component of signal is generated by means of division of number of positive and negative extremes of input seismic signal generated during sliding time window, for duration of this window, and analysis of ratio between weight average frequency of spectrum in efficient pass band to high-frequency component of signal is used to define approaching and moving away of detected object.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and noise immunity of seismic detection facilities and therefore improved quality of operation of technical security systems and investigating alarm systems.
