FIELD: seismic exploration.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of seismic exploration; it can be used in security and exploration-alarm complexes and systems for processing seismic signals generated by ground equipment objects in the surface layer of the soil in order to detect them. A feature of this method is the isolation of information signs of moving objects of ground equipment from a paired sequence of pulse signals received from outputs of a torsional vibration sensor, without the need to analyze their amplitude characteristics. Statistical patterns are identified by processing two sequences of pulse signals generated by the same source with limited and constant amplitude.

EFFECT: significant reduction in the influence of natural, artificial and industrial interference on sensors, reduction in the number of false alarms, possibility of detection of moving objects at a low signal/noise ratio; reduction in the sensitivity to weather and climatic variations; there is no need to use multi-stage amplifying-filtering paths with automatic gain control systems, requirements for the computing power of the device are reduced, and the battery life is increased.
