ELECTRICALLY INSULATING ROD Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC H01H33/00

Abstract RU 2366024 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, more specifically to design of electrically insulating rods, and can be used in high-voltage switching devices. The rod has an axisymmetric structure with a membrane made from elastic dielectric material, the surface of which is formed by solids of rotation, insert cylindrical elements, two rods on the axis of the membrane. The end of the rods is hemispherical.

EFFECT: reduced size and increased reliability of the electrically insulating rod.
