SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ophthalmology and can be used in determination of indications for early cataract surgery. Miosis is followed with optical biometry to evaluate the optical signal down-speed ratio (SNR). Said procedure is performed once more 4-6 months later. Provided SNR is decreased by 10-20% and more, indication for surgical intervention is observed.
EFFECT: method provides complete objectification of indications for cataract, including early-staged, surgery, allows reducing efforts and time for crystalline lens examination and provide the greater diagnostic comfort for a doctor and a patient.
