FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in machine building and other branches of industry, which consume austenite steel of upgraded strength and plasticity. The method consists in heating slabs out of austenite non magnetic steel to 850-1240°C temperature corresponding to the region of stable austenite, in isothermal conditioning at this temperature within not less, than 3 hours, in successive high temperature plastic deformation in rollers of the rolling mill at the said range of temperature, in further heating of iron to 1150±20°C temperature, in repeated isothermal holding within not less, than 3 hours, in cooling to 600±50°C temperature, in additional plastic deformation with a degree 15-20% at this temperature and in cooling in open air.
EFFECT: upgraded yield strength and impact resistance of iron out of austenite non magnetic steel.
