WOOD DRYING METHOD Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC F26B7/00

Abstract RU 2366875 C1

FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns wood drying in drying chambers using UHF generators, and can be applied in woodworking industry. Method of wood stack drying in drying chamber with UHF generators involves stack ionisation by an ioniser before deployment of UHF generator for moisture evaporation and further stack exposure to airflow.

EFFECT: improved drying quality, enhanced drying speed due to elimination of surface tension of water dipoles in the inner layers of wood stock, spared power sparing for UHF irradiation of wood stock owing to reduced generator operation duration.
