FIELD: procedure of drying, in particular, methods for drying of lumbers by microwave radiation, applicable in wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: wood drying consists in local brinding of sources of microwave radiation to the lumber to be dried with a subsequent displacement of them. The sources of microwave radiation are brought up to the lumber or lumber pile on the side of the opposite ends and displaced along the lumber being dried from the ends to their middle part in length. The speed of displacement of the radiators and the rate of filtrate flow of water vapor for the preset species of wood are determined from relations set forth in the claim. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 cl, 2 dwg
