FIELD: physics; communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication in general and particularly to cellular wireless communication. A remote station comprises a transmitter, meant for transmitting data packets over an uplink, and a receiver. The receiver receives the first frame, which has an assigned physical downlink, where the first frame is determined by the first delay on distribution and the first time delay relative the reference time scale, based on the common physical control channel, and receives the second frame, which has an assigned downlink control channel, in accordance with data packets, received by the base station. The beginning of the second frame is determined by the second delay on distribution and second time delay relative the reference time scale, where the second time delay is a function of the first time delay.
EFFECT: minimisation of two-way transmission processing time, associated with transmission of data packets to a base station over an uplink and acknowledgement by the base station for a remote station.
