FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and medical equipment and aims at generation time estimation. A person under consideration is presented with a permanent load test and a sequence of paired light pulses of duration 200 ms with pulse separation 70 ms shown every 1 sec. Periodically by progressive approximation method, a threshold pulse separation wherein two paired pulses are merged. A threshold pulse separation dynamics chart is plotted in coordinates: "the threshold pulse separation - testing time". The generation time is estimated by plateau escape time of the threshold pulse separation dynamics chart.
EFFECT: method extends range of product for generation time estimation.
